what does a rainforest look like?
i know it’s an easy question but how can i describe it?
I’m supposed to describe how it looks like? can anybody give me a paragraph on it or an opening sentence and some info and i’ll do the rest 
and also if you can, please help me with writing a description of the amerindians traditional way of life which i have no idea about lol

The easiest way to describe a rain forest visually is in it’s 4 vertical layers.
From the ground up:
The floor will be mostly bare because there isn’t enough light for plant growth. It’s dark. Leaf litter decays quickly. Because there’s little plant growth to hold soils in place, there is high erosion. Many of the large trees have buttresses at the base.
The understory will be full of epiphytic plants like vines, bromeliads, and orchids. These are plants that attach themselves to other large trees.
The canopy is where most life lives. This is a thick layer of leaves and home to many animals. Think of it as a carpet. Trees are broad leaf evergreens.
The emergent layer is a few super-tall trees that break free of the canopy.
